Marijuana= Yes vs No ?

A new study published in the scientific report journal reveals that marijuana is 114 times less deadly than alcohol, being the least deadly among the seven drug researcher look at. Alcohol was found to be the deadliest drug, followed by heroin, cocaine, tobacco, ecstasy,

methamphetamines and marijuana.

To determine the mortality risk. the Verge report that the researches compared lethal dose of each substance and the amount typically used, finding that marijuana is the only low mortality risk drug tested, with others classified either medium or higher. Researchers

further suggested that law enforcement would be better off trying to keep alcohol and

tobacco in check rather than hunting down marijuana users, and that marijuana should be

regulated considering the very low risk it poses.

In recent years, marijuana has become the most widely used illegal drug in the United States, with 94 million people having admitted to using it at least once. The number of

Americans who smoke tobacco are much higher, according to the CDC-17.8 per cent of adults in the United States use tobacco regularly, where as only 6.7 percent of American claim to be a frequent marijuana user. Each year 3.200 kids younger than 18 smoke their

first cigarette.

Marijuana appears to be used far less than alcohol by American. 86.8 percent of American 18 or older have had a drink in their life time. Among full time college student 12.7 percent

engaged in heavy drinking, have 5 or more drink in a night on 5 or more night in a month.

What are the mental and physical effects of using these drugs? A person that smoke marijuana is likely to have sensory perception, change in mood, impaired memory and difficulty with problem solving. Comparatively, numerous studies show the use of tobacco causing condition such as cancer, heart disease, stroke, lung disease and many others.

According to the CDC 480,000 people die every year from cigarette smoking related disease and illnesses, and 16 million American are currently living a disease caused by cigarette smoking. Not to mention 88,000 American die every year from alcohol related

causes, making it the third leading preventable cause of death.

According to a recent survey taken randomly asking 300 student which of the three drugs

is more dangerous over 250 that marijuana is the least harmful..Unlike tobacco, there have

been reports saying that there are some benefit to alcohol and marijuana use. Moderate

consumption of red wine is shown to decrease the risk of heart disease and many states

have started to legalize marijuana for medicinal purpose because it can be used to treat illness such as Aides and Alzheimers. So which of these drug is most harmful?

People don't overdose on marijuana. People don't get wild and crazy smoking too much pot and get taken to the hospital for marijuana poisoning, or get marijuana induced car crashes. Marijuana doesn't change your mood or behavior as something like alcohol can.

Marijuana doesn't make people violent or angry or belligerent. Alcohol can be such a dangerous drug that it's really ridiculous to place it on the level of harm as marijuana.

However when comes to comparing marijuana to tobacco, It's a little more reasonable to

believe cigarette are far more worse for you than marijuana. If you look at a habitual cigarette smoker compared to a marijuana smoker, the tobacco smoker look more

harrowed. their teeth are more yellowed and disgusting. Their hair thinner, their skin less

hydrated, their voice more hoarse and the smell of tobacco cover them like a cloud.

Marijuana is chemically safer to consume than either tobacco or alcohol. People can and will

believe what they want, but belief are not always founded in reason. Peace!
